Hello! My name is Kristie Smith and I have been a certified teacher for forty-two-years in the Mesquite and Dallas areas.
I have taught grades: K, 1, 3, 4, 5, 7, and 8th as well as ESL.
While teaching in Mesquite ISD, I earned my Masters degree in Educational Administration and was awarded the prestigious Apple Corp award.
For the past twenty-two-years, my passion has been teaching children with a visual impairment.
Children need to enjoy learning for long-lasting learning, so at Educational Solutions, we provide teaching objectives through non-threatening and fun ways. Children thrive in the classroom after our strategies are taught.

Kristie Smith, M.Ed has a masters degree in Educational Administration, a bachelors in Elementary Education and certifications in kindergarten, health and pe as well as history and English.
Smith is an Apple Corp teacher (2006) in Mesquite ISD, a prestigious award she is most proud of- the apple trophy sits on her desk.
Kristie has had over forty articles published on teaching special needs children as well as those with a visual impairment.
Smith has authored a book series about a girl detective who happens to be blind, The Adventures of Abby Diamond- 6 in the series.
"Teaching Colors to the Blind" Dallas Morning News -scored Kristie Smith a media nomination through Governor Rick Perry's special needs committee.
Kristie has been published through American Printing House, Wonder Baby and Paths to Literacy on her articles and books on how to work with children who have special needs.
